==About the Contributor==
Dr. Brusseau's research is focused on developing a fundamental understanding of the factors and processes influencing the transport and fate of contaminants in the subsurface. He is also interested in the development and evaluation of innovative subsurface remediation and characterization technologies, and the evaluation of risks posed to human health by contamination. His research integrates theoretical and conceptual model development with laboratory experimentation, field investigations, and mathematical modeling. He is a member of several professional societies, and is a Fellow of the American Geophysical Union, a Fellow of the Geological Society of America, and a Fellow of the Soil Science Society of America.
